Under 15 Round 2 vs South Barwon

Round 2 was a two day game which was played against an undermanned South Barwon side. On the first day we batted making a very good score of 5/235 off 49 overs. The stand out scores of the day were Jack Ryan with 52 retired and Jake Hickey also retiring on 49. Other useful contributions came from Mick Wakefield-16,Alex Brittain 16-retired hurt (Alex has since made a full recovery with everything in working order) and Sam Lowe with 18 not out.
Day 2 we bowled, with South making 6/89. The boys bowled tightly all morning to restrict the opposition batsmen to this score. The best of the bowlers was Gavin Leather who claimed 2 for 6 off his 4 overs, others to claim wickets were David Sanzaro-1/11, Jack Ryan-1/5 and George Gray-1/5. Ryan Stark also bowled extremely tightly, sending down 4 overs for 1 run, with that being a no ball.
