Hard to go past Matt Lineker, closely followed by Rob Ward, with John Ashley rounding out the top three.

Are we rating the best overseas player by his cricket skill or his or his ability to sound like a Wookie because if it is the latter i think keiron wins hands down.

Best O/S Player

Post  Fize on Tue Oct 23, 2007 3:54 am

I'd have to say Jexy. I mean how many cricketers from Lebannon have had such a long term impact on East. I had heard that he opened the batting for them once. Lebannon that is. Not many of our O/S players could say that they have opened for their country could they?

Don't forget Gary Cook. Didn't do much, but a nice guy.

Now that you mention them, has anyone heard from Cooky or Johnny Ashley lately?

Yeah Waco, keep in contact with Ashy through facebook, and believe Ricey caught up with him recently on his travels. Havent heard from Cooky since he left our shores in what must have been 94/95 i think.

You can look no further than Jexy, The greatest moustache ive ever had chance to play with.

As for worst i think you can toss up between myself, 'the sheikh of tweak' Rob Ward and Kilvo!
