U/13's update.

Welcome to the first report on the U/13 Division.
The season has started positively with two wins from three matches.
In the first game versus Marshall, the highlight was a match winning six off the second last ball by Alex Britton to bring the team home. Good contributions with the bat from Sam Lowe, Hayden McMahon and a steady bowling and fielding effort from all players enabled us to keep the opposition scoring down and steal victory.

Our second game versus Anankie saw an excellent team effort with the bat. The team reached a score of 103 off it's 25 overs with good batting performances from George Gray, Keegan Doherty Gavin Leather and George"toppa" Topouzakis all contributing.
With the ball, two (2) wickets each to George Grey and Dylan Mc Mahon and singles to Sam Lowe,Gavin Leather Cody Kennedy, Alex Britton and Keegan Doherty saw us bowl the oposition out for 58 and record our second victory.

Last weeks game saw us return to Belmont Common and face Marshall once again. This time the opposition was too strong running out winners by twenty (20) runs. Once again Sam Lowe, the Mc Mahon twin's, Toppa and Alex Britton contributed well with the bat but our bowling was a little "astray" and the opposition outplayed us despite good efforts in the field. Special mention to Jayden Stapelton who's fielding was a highlight and the bowling of Ryan Stark who was unlucky not to get wickers.

This weeks game is against is against Leopold and we are looking forward to the challenge.
