Under 13 East Belmont vs Winchelsea 1/2/08

East Belmont bowled first and immediately had Winch in trouble with "H" getting a caught behind off Codey's fourth ball. Wickets continued to fall at steady rate, with Winch eventually dismissed for 79.
Of the ten wickets to fall, 7 were BOWLED. This may appear to be accurate bowling, but of the total of 79, 33 of those runs came from wides/no balls.
Alex replaced Hayden as wicketkeeper so 'H' could have a bowl, which resulted in Hayden having 2 overs and getting 3 for 2, well done 'H'.

Our run chase was steady and with consistent batting through the order the runs were made in the 19th over. The top scorer this week was Codey who hammered a quick fire 27no (6 fours). Our final score was 4 for 109.

Well done to all the boys.
It was also pleasing to see the parents on the boundary offerring their support. See you all again next week.
Charles also found his way to the game after returning from extended holidays. Welcome back Charles.

Next week we are due to play Marshall at South Barwon No 4, but remember to LISTEN to Bruce on Wednesday after training to see if this venue changes .
